Multiple free programs, masterclasses, workshops, events, networks and tech credits, The Studio runs multiple programs with our 21+ partners and sponsors across technology, industry, business, education and government that include: Dolby, Animal Logic, Amazon Web Services, University of NSW, Western Sydney University, AFTRS, NIDA, Redhill Education, Copyright Agency, DLA Piper, MAAS, CSIRO/Data 61, IGEA, APRA AMCOS, ARN, RIAS, RØDE Microphones, MAC Centre, House of Brand, Federal and NSW State Governments. The Studio is Australia’s first media technologies incubator and is an anchor tenant in the Sydney Startup Hub, in Sydney’s CBD. The Studio is a not-for-profit organisation. The Studio's mission is to help startups and scaleups be successful. It supports and fosters high growth technology startups and scaleups across the media, entertainment, design, games, sound/music, communications and creative industries. The Studio is industry agnostic and also supports the development of companies using advanced new digital media tools and technologies like Virtual and Augmented Reality, Surround Sound, Ultra High Resolution Imaging and Wearable Computing, to transform industries such as Health and Education. Many startups sit across multiple industries, but technology is the key element. The Studio's unique focus is a significant contributor to the NSW and the Australian economy and is directly accelerating the creation of new high-value jobs, brands and intellectual property on a global scale. The Studio is designed to make companies successful by connecting collaborators within a global media-tech and startup investment ecosystem. By contributing to a strong startup ecosystem The Studio will improve the chances of a company succeeding.   Since opening its doors 1st March 2018, The Studio, is home to approximately 150 residents, comprising 45 startups. Collectively they’ve raised more than AU$41 million of investment.
